A lot of my clients ask me tips for things they can do on their own that will help them loose the weight they want to loose or tone the area they want to tone. They always give me weird looks when I ask them what they ate before they came into the gym. when it comes to fitness anything helps but not just anything is going to change your body into that dreamy physique that you have always wanted. A body like that takes a lifestyle change. Now i'm not saying to count your calories and throw out everything in your kitchen out and start over.
I'm just saying to educate yourself on healthy habits. learn the good foods that you can start to cook for dinner instead of the pizza you had last night. learn about different seasonings you can use instead of all the butter and oils your cooking with now. the more you take the time to learn better habits in the kitchen the more you start to see a difference in your health and your weight.
So for today i'm going to get into drinking habits just a little. walking threw the groceries store I always see people with drinks loaded with sugar, loaded with high fructose corn syrup. I'm going to get into my alternatives.
- REAL Orange juice
* I drink about 4 glasses of orange juice a day in place of a sugary drink like coke
or sweet tea.
- Fruit infused water
* Great alternative to plain water. It tastes amazing
while still being very, very healthy.
- Old fashion water
* Nothing can replace the fact that you need a lot of water
in your diet. increasing your water intake will increase your
metabolism there for increasing your fat loss. I personally drink about a gallon
of water a day. If your picky about your water just buy a different brand every week
until you find a brand that that you find tastes the best.
-Home made Green Tea
* Making home made green tea maybe with natural honey as your form of sweetener
is great way to have something tasty to drink while still getting some healthy benefits.
Try to avoid buying the pre-made kinds of tea or green tea because of all of the unhealthy
additives that are added into them.
